Mesopotamia, the rise of cities
After 3 decades of war and destruction, answering the call from the Iraqi heritage authorities, a new generation of international archaeologists reopens the mythical Mesopotamian sites of Khorsabad, Nineveh, Lagash and Larsa. Using digital technologies never yet applied in this area, they make astounding discoveries and reveal new visions of the development of the very first cities built by man. Benefiting from exclusive agreements, GEDEON Programs has accompanied these missions to share this unique moment of discovery and reveal unknown aspects of this fundamental chapter of human history.
