					Straits, between land and sea
Straits have always served as bridges between worlds, linking seas and separating continents. Straits such as Gibraltar, Pas-de-Calais, Malacca and Magellan are home to unique ecosystems, where endemic flora and fauna have developed vital interactions with nomadic species while developing an extraordinary capacity for resilience in the face of the aggressions of the modern world.
