Azuchi, lost castle of the samurai

Once considered to be the most fabulous castle in medieval Japan, Azuchi, which has now disappeared, is the subject of a vast investigation that brings us back to the country’s troubled history at the time of the samurai. Part fortress, part palace, this legendary, highly strategic castle is about to be reborn in computer-generated imagery. Through the destiny of its builder, Oda Nobunaga, a fearsome warlord, this quest takes us to the heart of a key period when the reunification of Japan was at stake, and the country’s influence reached as far as the West.
This quest takes on a whole new dimension thanks to an exceptional collaboration with Ubisoft. Their game Assassin’s Creed Shadows (March 2025), which also takes place in the era of Oda Nobunaga and Azuchi, offers us privileged access to a remarkably rich visual universe.
A unique opportunity to bring to life, with unprecedented precision and immersion, one of the most pivotal moments in Japan’s history.
